[Neko-O] Al Leonhardt

Al is a very well-mannered man, always making sure he puts his best effort to respect and sometimes ease his way into the life of others. He can be caring and patient, under the condition that whatever or whomever he's patient with will be beneficial in the end. This however doesn't cover up the fact that he's incredibly prideful and condescending, which leads to a sickly amount of arrogance. He hides it well with words and a good composure, but in certain situations he'd turn his nose away from those deemed 'inferior'.

That aside, once his sights are set on someone or something his true self tends to show. As a former politician, he's had his hands dirtied with a few underhanded methods here and there. He played his cards well, and knocked others down through a methodical and calculative approach, gaining him a lot of enemies. While he is hardworking in regards to his work, he becomes almost determined to get ahold of his person or thing of interest. There isn't many options he'd turn away from, and will use any method to achieve his goal --even if that meant manipulating or sometimes hurting others. If it's a person, he becomes very possessive, and will get violent if he feels like they will be taken from him. This possessiveness doesn't last long since, like objects, people to Al are sometimes expendable (and easy to let go if they've given him what he wants).

For most of his life, Al had very little interest in romance and relationships that weren't beneficial to him. Most of his 'relationships' were treated as only an outlet for his sexual desires. Not all lasted more than a day or two, with the exception of one, which ended under a mutual agreement. It wasn't until Al met Lilith that he fell genuinely in love and sought to build a romantic relationship. Although he tells himself that it's just for the sex, he truly cares for and loves her.

       ┏ BACKGROUND ┓

TL;WR: Spoiled rotten kid who grew up to be a walking money bag seeking power and opportunity to pursue his goals. He has two siblings, one younger brother named Henry, and an adopted sister named Celine.

Al was born the first son in a very wealthy family in a smaller city not too far from Neko Oasis. As the son of a mayor (father), and a doctor (mother), Al had a lot to look up to, and responsibility to uphold. As the first son, a lot was expected of him: whether it was maintaining perfect grades in school, following strict rules, or behaving no matter where he went. This wasn't too hard for Al, since the rewards for doing so were worth it. He was spoiled, entitled, and loved all the attention he got from his parents. This of course, changed with news of two younger ones entering the family. The first, a younger brother named Heath, and the second, the adopted daughter name Celine. Al was now the one who had to set a good example for them. He didn't care too much about that, he loved his new siblings, and was determined to take care of them and set a good example. However he also cared about how divided his parents attention would be. 

To make up for this, he started making trouble to get their attention. He was a lively kid who always sought adventure, the only difference now is that once he got older, he'd start taking more risks. It started with him taking household items and trying to build his own mechanisms, next was taking things apart to see how they worked. No matter how much his parents scolded him and tried to keep things out of his reach, he'd always find a way to "reclaim what's rightfully his". Celine and Henry were very much interested in their brother's work, and were kind of like his little minions retrieving things for his little experiments. 

In school he'd act unbearably bratty and belittle others who didn't share his status and wealth. Not many liked him because of this, which he was completely okay with. This however, didn't stop him from pushing himself onto others to win their trust and following. He was extremely smart and played his cards well to achieve his goals. Because of his charm, intelligence, and stern leadership, he always set a record to keep his position as head of the student council, bringing great things to his peers. This however, didn't satisfy him enough, so he reached for a higher goal: following in his father's footsteps. Following graduation from university, he went into politics and quickly made a name for himself. 
While he was good at what he does, he also made a lot of enemies getting to where he was. Stepping on and using others to get what he needs. This caused a lot of tension, and even attempts to get him killed. Lucky for him, he wasn't too easy to reach, and the only nearly successful assassination attempt left him with a few permanent scars. He owed his life to Celine, his adopted sister, who he learnt had more to offer him than meets the eye. 

Al decided it was time to move on from politics, stepping down from his position in office to start his own business: Syntech. Al loved power, and following in his father's footsteps carefully would surely get him there. However, getting where he did only pleased and interested him but so much. Al believed that there were greater opportunities outside of home, so he packed everything and moved to Neko Oasis. There, he slowly built Syntech, hiring people from outside and inside the city to pursue their own and his passion. 

Syntech is an organization based around the research and development of technology for both scientific and every day use. There are several facilities placed in many cities, with a separate building at the heart of Neko Oasis. The main campus however is based in the highlands just off the outskirts of Neko Oasis. Here, scientists, engineers and others worth together to develop new technology while advancing old ones.

• Exercising: Al loves to exercise, and will often leave a window of time during work to do so. Whether its taking a walk or working out at the gym, he's very adamant about keeping a fit body.
  
  
• Drinking: Al doesn't drink too often unless he's going out with the intention to socialize and bring home a lady or two. Alcohol helps keep his cool and is a good way to wind down after a hard day's work. He drinks only enough to feel a light buzz but not enough to pass out drunk and get mugged. He loves his money too much to do that. Except when he's with Lilith, whom he spoils anyway.
  
  
• Tech Research: If there's one thing Al likes to do on and off the clock, it'd be taking part in the research portion of his company. He likes to look for the most innovative ways to improve something, and is always open to making new things. It's a big investment, but he's incredibly passionate about it.
  
  
• Gambling: Like drinking, gambling isn't something Al does all the time unless he wants to change things up for a night. Al often visits the casino when he does feel like gambling away a little money. He knows when to stop though, especially if he sees the odds are against him.

• Lion bumped into Fox and fell in love almost instantly. He did not know who she was entirely, but became lovesick and was determined to 'claim her'. Eventually, the two met again by a string of luck and hit it off that night. 
• She's a tease, but that's also what he loves about her.
  
  
• Celine || Adopted Sister/Business Partner
• Celine was raised by Al's father as an adopted daughter since she was 8 (he was 18), so the two remained very close. Al has worked with Celine many times during his days as a political figure. Although he was fully able to protect himself, she was his way of keeping his head clear of any unneeded attention. When he moved cities, she followed but decided to live her own life apart from him. They rarely see each other outside of work.
